Questions
& Answers About Lawn Sprinkler Systems
1. Will the system be custom fitted to my property?
Your design will take into account such factors as changes in terrain
elevation, sunny and shaded areas, and landscape planting in place or
planned. These factors are important in determining sprinkler
placement, zoning, your watering schedule and the length of watering
times.
2. Will your design and equipment help me save water?
Your system will use the most efficiently designed sprinkler nozzling
available. Your watering schedule will also be planned to minimize
waste caused by runoff, wind drift, and evaporation.
3. What do you do to avoid damaging existing landscaping and turf?
We design a system that does not require moving existing plants or
plantings. This may require some hand excavation. The piping material
will be "pulled" into the ground with a vibrating plow that minimizes
damage to the turf. In most cases, visible evidence that your system
was installed will not be apparent after a period of two weeks.
4. Will I be able to comply with water rationing regulations if necessary?
During water shortages you may be restricted to watering on certain
days and during low-demand hours - usually at night. An automatic
sprinkler systems allows you tremendous flexibility to comply with
watering restrictions. In addition you will save your community water
through the efficient application of water your system will provide.
5.
Will the quoted price for my system include all extras - such as the
required backflow prevention devices, additional water meters, permits,
taxes, etc.?
Yes. The price we quote you will be for the entire system. We will
inform you what is required by your city to install your system and
work with you to make your installation as convenient as possible for
you.
6. Isn't there a possibility of freeze damage to my system?
Your system will need to be blown out with compressed air each year to
winterize the system from freezing and damaging your pipe and sprinkler
heads. As part of your installation package, All American Turf Beauty,
Inc. will provide the first winterization "blowout" and spring start up
at no extra charge to you.
