SPOT SEEDING PROGRAM
Where To Spot
Seed:
- Large bare areas
- Thin or bare areas in the shade
- Damaged areas from diseases or insects
How We
Effectively Spot Seed:
Areas to be seeded will be power raked to loosen the soil and prepare
the seedbed. Seed and starter fertilizer will then be broadcast over
the area. The area will then be power raked "lightly" going in the
opposite direction to set the seed in the seed bed insuring good seed
soil contact.
Benefits of
Spot Seeding Your Lawn:
- This method of seeding is most effective for shady areas.
- Large bare areas can be effectively renovated, thus avoiding the high cost of
sodding.
-
Damaged areas can be spot-seeded, thus avoiding the cost of seeding the
whole lawn.
