Our Founding And Leaders

All American Turf Beauty was founded by Daryle Johnson, who started the company on April 6, 1976, in a barn near Winterset, Iowa. He was born May 19, 1935 on a farm near Pocahontas, Iowa. Daryle volunteered for the draft and served in the US Army from April 21, 1954 – February 14, 1956, in Korea with the 520th Depot and the 7th. He re-enrolled at Iowa State on the G I Bill and graduated with a BS Degree in Agronomy in February 1959.

Currently, Kevin Johnson is the President of All American Turf Beauty, Inc. He earned a B.S. in Agribusiness from Iowa State University in 1986. Although he has worked at All American Turf Beauty, Inc. full-time since graduating from college, he literally grew up in the “family business”. His first job for All American Turf Beauty was delivering marketing flyers at 13 years of age.

Also running the company is Clarice Baiotto, who has been with the company for over 36 years. She currently holds the position of Vice-President/Controller and serves on the Board of Directors. She finds it has been exciting working for a company that has grown by making customers happy with all of their services, including lawn care, landscape lighting, and holiday lighting.
