Christmas Décor Requests Local Residents to Nominate a Family
Jim O’Loughlin at Christmas Décor by All American Turf Beauty invites local residents to nominate a deserving active-duty service member’s family to be a “Decorated Family” in 2021. The franchisees of Christmas Décor across the nation will donate resources, products, expertise, and time to perform Christmas house decoration at the “Decorated Family” homes of this year to honor all service members who would not be able to be with their families during this year’s holiday season.
“Each year, the families of tens of thousands of active-duty men and women are deployed outside of the United States and its territories during the holiday season,” stated O’Loughlin. “The Decorated Family program can literally light up the holidays for some of these families while sending a glowing message of thanks to all service members and their families for their dedication and sacrifice.”
How to Nominate?
To nominate a local military family for this year’s Decorated Family Program, residents should visit the Facebook page of Christmas Décor. They should click the Decorated Family Program link and fill up a form expressing why the military family they have nominated should be chosen as this holiday season’s “Christmas Décor Decorated Family”.
Christmas Décor will read all the stories and choose from the nominated military families in each community. They will select the Decorated Families based on their story’s impact on the judges as well as the location of the family (to make sure a participating local franchise is available to offer the award and Christmas decorations).
The nominations will close on November 11, 2021 – Veteran’s Day. “This year, we hope to decorate more homes than ever before,” outlined the president of Christmas Décor, Inc., Brandon Stephens. “The more nominations we receive, the more Decorated Families we are able to recognize.
